Reflections...

Well, the blog project is over, eh? All in all, I think this was a rather effective project. At the very least, it gave us a way to just rant out anything we felt like, and in many cases for foreign language studies, being able to say whatever you want is a very good way to keep interest and focus on the studies.

The only general problem with the project, and it is somewhat unavoidable, is the fact that us participants were probably not as dedicated to it as we should have been. I admit personally that I did not often go and comment on others' blog pages. That and forgetting to update regularly are probably the two most common faults. But again, there isn't too much that can be done about the students' work ethic without them handling it themselves. Perhaps some sort of motivation via the sensei would help, though I am not too sure as to what kind of motivation that would be. Free candy, perhaps? :) At any rate, I find it to be a strong and effective project, and it should definitely be continued for future students.

Overall, I was satisfied with the outcome. My fluency turned out better than I was expecting, and it seemed to hold onto the audience's attention fairly well.
The major thing I noticed that could be improved upon is the accuracy of my accent. I don't feel that I am properly speaking the sounds of some particles, such as not being able to very easily distinguish between yo and yu. I believe it's just me having a "lazy mouth," not putting the physical effort to sharpen my mouth movements. I had that same issue during all of my years of French =P That just means there's room for improvement, and I plan on it! ^^b
